Trips we run again and again

Every one of these is a starting point. Most of what we actually operate is one of these with a night moved, a hotel changed or a place added — so treat the itinerary as a draft written for you, not a fixed product.

Why book with us

Four things we will always do

These are not certificates on a wall. They are the four promises this office makes, and the ones you should hold us to.

A written itinerary before you pay

You get the day-by-day plan, the named hotels, the vehicle and the full price in writing first. Nothing is confirmed on a phone call alone.

Based where the roads begin

Our office is in Siliguri, half an hour from Bagdogra airport and twenty minutes from NJP station. The hills are our home circuit, not a map we bought.

Our own drivers on our own routes

Hill driving is a skill. The drivers who take you to Gurudongmar or over Sela Pass do these roads all season, and they carry your permits with them.

One number, all trip

A single coordinator handles your trip from enquiry to airport drop. If a road closes at 6 am, you call one person, not a call centre.

How booking works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. Tell us the shape of the trip

Dates, how many of you, and anywhere you already know you want to see. A WhatsApp message is enough; you do not need a finished plan.

  2. We send a real itinerary

Day by day, with named hotels, the vehicle, what is included and what is not, and one all-in price. In writing, before any money changes hands.

  3. You change what you want changed

A night added, a place dropped, a cheaper hotel band, a different arrival date. We rebuild and re-quote. This is the normal case, not an imposition.

  4. Confirm, and we take it from there

Advance, then vouchers for hotels and transport, then permits. One coordinator handles your trip from that point to your airport drop.

Start with a few details

Before you ask

The questions we get every week

How do I reach you from outside the region?
Fly to Bagdogra (IXB) or take a train to New Jalpaiguri (NJP). Both are in Siliguri and both are where almost every trip in this region starts. We meet you there and the vehicle is yours from that moment.
Do I need permits for Sikkim, Bhutan or Arunachal?
Yes, for several areas. North Sikkim, Tsomgo Lake, Nathu La and Zuluk need protected-area permits; Arunachal needs an Inner Line Permit; Bhutan needs an entry permit issued at Phuentsholing or Paro. We arrange all of them, and we tell you at the enquiry stage which documents to carry.
What documents should every traveller carry?
Original photo ID plus photocopies, and passport-size photographs. For Bhutan, Indian nationals need a passport or a Voter ID; other nationalities need a passport. Children need a birth certificate or school ID. We send an exact list with your confirmation.
When is the best time to travel?
March to May for rhododendron, clear mornings and comfortable days. October to early December for the sharpest Kanchenjunga views of the year. Mid-December to February for snow in the high passes. June to September is monsoon, beautiful and green in the Dooars but landslide-prone on the high roads.
Is the price per person or for the whole group?
Prices on this site are per person on double sharing and they are a starting point, not a quote. The final figure depends on your dates, hotel category, group size and how many vehicles you need. You get one all-in number before you pay anything.
Can you change an itinerary I have found here?
That is the normal case, not the exception. Most trips we run are edited versions of these itineraries: a night added, a place dropped, a different hotel band. Tell us what you want changed and we rebuild it.

Permits, seasons, what to pack and how to get here

Tell us roughly what you want. We will send back a real itinerary.

Dates, how many of you, and anywhere you have your heart set on — that is enough for us to start. You will get a day-by-day plan with named hotels and one all-in price, in writing, before you pay anything.
