What happens after you send this
Within the working day someone from the office reads it and replies — usually with a question or two, because the details that make a trip good are rarely in the first message. Then you get the itinerary.
You get a real itinerary, not a brochure
Day by day, with the hotels named, the vehicle stated, what is included and what is not, and one all-in figure. Before any money moves.
It is built around your dates, not ours
Season decides everything in these hills. We will tell you if the month you have picked is wrong for the place you have picked, even when that costs us the booking.
Permits are our problem
Sikkim inner line, North Sikkim protected area, Silk Route, Bhutan entry, Arunachal ILP. We apply, we carry them, and we tell you exactly which documents to bring.
One person, the whole trip
A named coordinator from the first message to your airport drop. Not a ticket number and not a rota.
Things worth telling us up front
- Who is travelling — ages matter, particularly at altitude and on the trek routes.
- Anyone with a heart or breathing condition, or who is pregnant. It changes what we will recommend.
- A fixed return flight or a date you cannot move.
- A budget you want us to work inside. It is the most useful single number you can give us, and it is not a rude question.
- Food requirements — pure vegetarian and Jain food are easy to arrange if we know in advance and awkward if we do not.
- Your nationality, because several permits in this region differ by passport.
